So, you are right. irrespective of your experience you need to first clear "Foundation level" exam to take any other advanced level certification exam.

Before we jump into point number 2. I would suggest to make a plan on when you want to take exam. I would suggest at least to have 2 months of duration from the moment you really start preparing to your exam date specially when you are working full time. In my case, i was working full time and I also had toddler hence I could spend only maximum of 2 hours a day and most of my weekends were occupied so i took 2 months duration to prepare for my foundation exam.

I first confirmed my exam dates and then started preparing for exam as that makes situation little more serious than in other case.
